Network

Intranet

A Way To Carry On when the Internet is not available or a group / organization needs their own resources with minimal access to the Internet.

FreedomBox

FreedomBox is a private server for non-experts: it lets you install and configure server applications with only a few clicks. It runs on cheap hardware of your choice, uses your internet connection and power, and is under your control.

Something that makes FreedomBox worth noting is the ease in which it can be setup on different hardware platforms that it can operate from (just be sure that Debian will work with your chosen hardware).

FreedomBox for Communities

is a creative adaptation of the FreedomBox server software and other free software servers for use in community Wi-Fi networks.

It is a combination of hardware and free software that can provide for all the digital needs of a community. It also helps in keeping the data private and within the community and thus can be used in situations where data privacy is critical.  FreedomBox for Communities – eBook
